• Encourage students to take part in and out of school activities and experiences.

• Visit different places to meet students’ needs in different courses.

• Plan site visits to give the students opportunities to improve their social and intellectual skills. Some places to visit could be manufactories, elderly house, orphans and museums.

Play areas

Play is more than just the chance to run around outside. Play is important in the development of a pupil’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development as classroom learning.

 

Recess plays a key role in a child’s physical, social, and academic development. Recess provides students with time to be active that helps them develop healthy bodies, enjoy moving more, and accumulate part of their physical activity every day.

 

 

Children and young people can spend up to twenty percent of their total school time in the school grounds. School grounds therefore offer an important resource for learning, play and child development, and to promote positive health and well-being, understanding of the environment, citizenship and physical activity for children. Play is the key to physical, mental, intellectual and social well being of children. It impacts hugely on almost every developmental aspect of children’s lives holistically and with multifaceted ways. Young children spend a reasonable amount of time in school. Besides, for many children, school play time is the most active part of their day. Therefore, school playground and school playtime are vitally important to children for their fun and relaxation as well as for their good health and well-being. School playgrounds play important role in their daily life for fulfilling their interest, development and learning needs.
